Plant cells differ from animal cells with the presence of cell wall and the absence of centrioles. The plant cells also consist of large sized vacuoles unlike that of vacuoles in animal cell. The cell wall is made up of cellulose fibrils along with the pectin and lignin. The cellwall is called primary in the case of meristematic cells. The secondary cell walls are observed in collenchyma and sclerenchyma cells. Chloroplasts are plastids which have green colored pigment called chlorophyll.
